The company is a dynamic and fast growing organization specialized in seed production, seed processing, plant breeding and research of hybrid vegetable varieties.
This Business Development Manager will manage the activities from all aspects of the territory. The main objective is to develop sales and increase market share and customer base. He or she will be responsible for the introduction and sales of the product range in Spain; identify opportunities and develop strategies and action plans to improve short-term and long-term sales. Candidate will monitor and report R&D plots, PD trials and sales within the region. He or she will plan and implement sales strategies to gain market share and increase profitability in the region and interface directly with customers in the value chain (dealers, nurseries, growers, wholesalers and retailers) in order to build relationships.
The candidate we are looking for is born and raised in Spain and has a good network of vegetable growers in Spain. He or she has at least a bachelor’s degree in agronomy, horticulture, or agricultural studies and has an extensive and proven experience as well as knowledge with and in the modern seed business.
Indispensable for this function is an excellent command of Spanish and English, both written and spoken. Candidate must be able to travel independently.
